I discovered Vintage Body Spa in 2007. I was searching for natural products to use on my infant daughter’s eczema rather than the pediatrician-recommended steroid creams. We began using a regimen of the products and were delighted to finally find something that provided her relief and cleared up her scaly patches. During that time, we learned the company was for sale, and a ‘light bulb moment’ occurred. I’d made bath and body products as a hobby years before, but it hadn’t registered until right then that I could make natural treatments to soothe my daughter’s skin. Rather than risk losing the wonderful products that had made such a difference, I bought the company! We continue to make the original product line and have expanded our offerings to include additional skin nourishing options to soothe even the most sensitive of skin. We are a family owned and operated business, working hard to provide superior products and unparalleled customer service. We are confident that once you try our Vintage Body Spa natural product skin care, you will be a lifelong fan. We believe in doing our part to protect the Earth and reduce our impact on the environment, and strive daily to be an eco-friendly family and company. We actively support environmental and fair-trade organizations in our community and around the world. Some additional causes that Vintage Body Spa is dedicated to supporting are domestic violence / rape / sexual assault prevention and support services. As a survivor myself, (before meeting my incredible husband!) these are issues near and dear to my heart. We are partnering with domestic violence shelters as well as rape/sexual assault organizations through our Behind the Curtain initiative to increase awareness, donate much-needed funds as well as donating products to survivors to demonstrate in a tangible way that someone does care and that they are worthy and deserving of some pampering and love. While we realize that a bubble bath won’t change the world, it can temporarily change a survivor’s world. We hope you’ll join with us in supporting this effort.
